BOOM kicks off 2017 in Duncan, BC, Jan 13th.

Cowichan Performing Arts Centre presents BOOM, Jan 13th, 2017 at 7:30pm. ONE NIGHT ONLY! This is the only BOOM performance in BC this season, after a run of 300 shows in 2015 and 2016, including multi-week stints at the Belfry in Victoria and Arts Club/PuSh Festival in Vancouver. Come see Rick Miller play over 100 characters from the baby boom generation, in a multimedia spectacle for all the generations to see together.

BOOM allows you to experience the global events as they unfold: the Cold War, McCarthyism, Beatlemania, Trudeaumania, JFK, MLK, Mao, Vietnam… The various stories spiral into the “The Summer of Love”, and BOOM ends as it began: with a new generation born into a new world order.
